Staff recommendation: 1. Award a Professional Services Agreement to TJKM Transportation Consultants to provide design services for the School Crossing Safety Enhancements, HISPL-5351 (044), CIP No. 50112 for an amount not-to-exceed $82,645 and authorize the City Manager to execute the agreement in a form approved by the City Attorney; 2. Authorize the City Manager or his designee to process change orders, as needed, in an amount not-to-exceed a $8,300 contingency (approximately 10% of the total contract amount); and 3. Amend the fiscal year 2023-24 Adopted Budget by appropriating $50,000 from the Transportation Development Act (TDA) Funds (Fund 210) fund balance to Account No. 210.70.7300-54500-50112.
