1. Award a Construction Contract for a not-to-exceed amount of $4,209,000 to Onyx Paving Company, Inc., for the Citywide Resurfacing and Reconstruction Project, CIP No. 50066 (Project) and authorize the City Manager to execute the contract in a form approved by the City Attorney; 2. Approve the plans and specifications for the Project; 3. Authorize the City Manager or his designee to approve change orders, as needed, in an amount not-to-exceed $420,900 (approximately 10% of the total contract amount) for construction contingency; and 4. Approve the Notice of Exemption (NOE) for the subject project and authorize the City Clerk to file the NOE with the County Recorder, in accordance with the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA).
