1. Approve the plans and specifications for the Major Arterials Signing and Striping Improvements Project, CIP No. 50107 (Project); 2. Award a Construction Contract for a not-to-exceed amount of $137,559 to J&S Striping Company, Inc., for the Project; and authorize the City Manager to execute the contract in a form approved by the City Attorney; 3. Authorize the City Manager, or his designee, to approve change orders, as needed, in an amount not-to-exceed $55,000 (approximately 40% of the total contract amount) for construction contingency; and 4. Approve the Notice of Exemption (NOE) for the subject project (Enclosure 2) and authorize the City Clerk to file the NOE with the County Recorder, in accordance with the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA).
