- 1. Approve the plans and specifications for the Rosemead Boulevard Median and Parkway Beautification Project No. 50076, CCL-5351(042); 2. Award a construction contract for a not-to-exceed amount of $4,025,413 to Urban Habitat for the Rosemead Boulevard Median and Parkway Beautification Project No. 50076, CCL-5351(042) and execute the contract in a form approved by the City Attorney; 3. Authorize the City Manager to process change orders, as needed, in an amount not-to-exceed $550,000 (approximately 13% of the total contract amount) for construction contingency; 4. Amend the fiscal year (FY) 2023-24 adopted budget by appropriating $155,000 from Prop A (Fund 205) to Account No. 205.70.7300.54500-50076; 5. Amend the fiscal year (FY) 2023-24 adopted budget by appropriating $200,000 in Measure W (Fund 209) to Account No. 209.70.7300.54500-50076; and 6. Approve the Notice of Exemption (NOE) for the subject project (Enclosure 2) and authorize the City Clerk to file the NOE with the County Recorder, in accordance with the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA).
