1. Approve the plans and specifications for the Alebrije Dog Park Project (CIP No. 50068) (Project); 2. Award a Construction Contract for a not-to-exceed amount of $1,449,887 to Green Giant Landscape, Inc., for the Project and authorize the City Manager to execute the contract in a form approved by the City Attorney; 3. Authorize the City Manager or his designee, to approve change orders, as needed, in an amount not-to-exceed $217,500 (approximately 15% of the total contract amount) for construction contingency; and 4. Approve the Notice of Exemption (NOE) for the subject project and authorize the City Clerk to file the Notice of Exemption (NOE) with the County Recorder, in accordance with the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA).
