1. Approve a resolution authorizing the City Manager to execute a Purchase and Sale Agreement with the San Gabriel Valley Council of Governments (SGVCOG) for the acquisition of 4845 Durfee Avenue (APN:6374-015-902) and a vacant lot with APN: 6375-016-906 and to take all necessary steps to complete the transaction, including opening escrow and accepting title on behalf of the City of Pico Rivera (City); 2. Approve a Purchase and Sale Agreement for the purchase of said property and authorize the City Manager to execute the agreement in a form approved by the City Attorney; and 3. Find that the City’s acquisition of said property is exempt from the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA).
