Staff recommendation

1. Approve the plans and specifications for the Water Wells 7,8,9 & 10 Destruction Project, CIP 50094 (Project); 2. Award a construction contract to Levon Construction Group in the amount of $760,500 for the Project and authorize the Executive Director to execute the contract in a form approved by the General Counsel; 3. Authorize the Executive Director, or his designee, to approve construction change orders, as necessary, in an amount not to exceed $76,000 (approximately 10 percent of the contract amount) for construction contingency; 4. Amend the Fiscal Year (FY) 2026–27 Adopted Budget by appropriating $682,000 from the Water Fund (Fund 550) fund balance to CIP No. 50094; and 5. Approve the Notice of Exemption (NOE) for the Project pursuant to the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) and authorize the Authority Secretary to file the NOE with the Los Angeles County Clerk.
